Housing is at the heart of Sutton’s ambition for its residents. Following the insourcing of services from Encompass in 2024 and a major restructure in December 2025, we’ve entered a new era of transformation.

What we do:
- Manage allocations and lettings for thousands of households, working closely with Sutton Housing Partnership (our ALMO) to ensure smooth processes and strong governance.
- Provide homelessness prevention, assessment, and resettlement services, including support for refugees and vulnerable residents.
- Oversee temporary accommodation for over 1,100 households, with a focus on reducing reliance on nightly-paid placements and driving down costs.
- Deliver new homes and affordable housing through the Sutton Local Plan, negotiating S106 agreements and enabling partnerships with developers and housing associations.
- Innovate through digital solutions, data analytics, and system design to improve efficiency and customer experience.
